Surgical Services
CABG
We perform isolated and combined CABG procedures using arterial and venous conduits, with a focus on complete revascularization and long-term graft patency.
Valve Repair and Replacement
We work in partnership with interventional cardiology for hybrid and catheter-based therapies when appropriate. We offer:
- Aortic valve replacement
- Mitral valve repair
- Tricuspid valve repair
Surgical Management of Atrial Fibrillation
We offer surgical ablation and left atrial appendage closure for rhythm control and stroke risk reduction.
Mechanical Circulatory Support
UMass Memorial Health operates the only durable VAD program in the region. We also provide temporary support procedures, including extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
Adult Congenital Heart Disease Surgery
We treat a range of adult congenital conditions, including septal defects, aortic coarctation, pulmonary artery stenosis and coronary anomalies.
Aortic Surgery
Our team manages ascending aortic aneurysms, root pathology, and acute or chronic dissections requiring operative intervention.
