Patient and Family Advisory Council

What is a Patient and Family Advisory Council?

A Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a group of patients, family members, and caregivers who work together to improve the quality, safety, and experience of care at a health care organization. The various PFACs at UMass Memorial Medical Center and across the UMass Memorial Health System actively contribute to a wide range of projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the patient and family experience in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Marlborough Hospital Visitation

Effective January 2, 2024

Welcome to UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital

Patients and visitors are strongly encouraged to wear masks, particularly if they have symptoms of respiratory illness and when they are visiting an admitted patient with a respiratory illness. At caregiver discretion, patients and visitors may be asked to wear a mask. If they do not comply with masking when asked to do so, they may be asked to leave.
