UMass Memorial Health unveils plans for new satellite emergency facility in Groton, MA

UMass Memorial Health is moving ahead with plans to build a new satellite emergency facility to fill the void left by the closure of Steward Health Care's Nashoba Valley Medical Center.

At a meeting in Groton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday night, officials from UMass said the state's Department of Public Health approved the proposal for the facility, which will be located in the town.
