Cortisol (Urine)

This test looks for two fairly uncommon health conditions: Cushing syndrome and Addison disease. It also may be used to diagnose other diseases that affect your pituitary and adrenal glands.

Chloride

This test will find out how much chloride is in your blood and help your health care provider find out if you have a kidney problem.

Chlamydia Pneumoniae (Swab)

If your health care provider suspects that you have this type of pneumonia, they may do a swab test of your nose or throat.

Carbon Monoxide (Blood)

This test measures the level of carbon monoxide in your blood. You may need this test if you have smoke inhalation or symptoms of CO poisoning.

Brucella Antibody

This test looks for brucellosis, an infectious disease usually caused by handling animals or milk products infected with the Brucella bacteria.

BNP (Blood)

This test measures the amount of a protein that builds up in your blood when you have heart failure. It's an important tool for doctors to diagnose heart failure quickly.

Blood Smear

This test looks at the appearance, number, and shape of your red and white blood cells and platelets to see whether they are normal.
