About UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional

Milford Regional has been a member of UMass Memorial Health since 2004. We are a community-based health care system that includes Milford Regional Medical Center and the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation. In addition, integrating the Milford Regional Physician Group with UMass Memorial Medical Group has expanded our physician network and improved access to high-quality care across the region.

Who We Are

Milford Regional is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, serving an area of 20+ towns. We offer personalized care, working with each patient so they receive the right care at the right time. At Milford Regional, patients find a warm, sensitive and respectful environment that helps put them at ease and feel confident in their care.

Our physicians are skilled in advanced procedures and technology, enabling us to provide the most effective, comprehensive services possible. Many of our physicians hold teaching appointments at New England’s finest medical schools, preparing the doctors of tomorrow.

• 148-bed, nonprofit, acute-care facility
• 300+ primary care and specialty physicians
• 52-bed emergency department
• 15 private rooms for patients with cancer and palliative care needs
• 8 state-of-the-art operating suites and 2 surgical robotic systems

Milford Regional services include:

• Intensive care unit with advanced lifesaving technologies
• Advanced patient monitoring capabilities, including a dedicated telemetry floor to monitor patients with heart needs
• Maternity Center with homelike rooms, including some with whirlpool labor tubs and private postpartum rooms
• Level 1B Continuing Care Nursery providing extra care for late preterm babies at 35 weeks and beyond, as well as those with health issues
• Comprehensive breast health program offering advanced diagnostic imaging and specialized breast cancer care

In addition, our partnerships with national leaders in health care give you and your family access to top specialists, advanced treatments and groundbreaking clinical trials.

The 54,000-square-foot Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center provides care from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Physician Group. These collaborations provide patients with the extensive expertise and capabilities of a renowned cancer institution in a familiar, comfortable community setting.
