A Letter to Milford Regional Patients on Patient Portal Changes
The following email was sent to Milford Regional patients.

Dear Milford Regional Patient:
We are excited to announce that on April 1, 2026, Milford Regional Medical Center and Milford Regional Physician Group (Milford Regional) will transition to UMass Memorial’s state-of-the-art electronic medical record system, called Epic. This system is already in use across all UMass Memorial facilities and will help streamline the sharing of your health information between your health care providers, leading to improved coordination and more efficient care.
At the same time, we will also switch to UMass Memorial’s patient portal, myChart. This easy-to-use secure website and app gives you convenient access to all your health information across the UMass Memorial system.
What You Need to Know
Notifications and Billing Statements
- Milford Regional Medical Center patients: For dates of service April 1, 2026, and beyond, notifications and billing statements will come from UMass Memorial Health.
- Milford Regional Physician Group patients: For dates of service January 1, 2026, and beyond, you should already be receiving notifications and billing statements from UMass Memorial Health.
Changes to Patient Gateway
- As of 5 pm Eastern Time on March 20, 2026, the following features will no longer be available in Patient Gateway:
- Message your care team
- Schedule an appointment
- Request a prescription renewal
- If you need to contact your provider/care team, schedule an appointment, or renew a prescription, please call your provider’s office.
Access to Patient Gateway and MyHealthLink
- Starting April 1, 2026, your care information from Milford Regional will be in UMass Memorial’s myChart. Please note that some information — your medications, problems, and allergies — may not be visible right away as it must be validated by your provider. Your provider may choose to wait until your next visit to confirm this information with you.
- You will still have access to Patient Gateway and MyHealthLink, but no new Milford Regional information will be added to those patient portals as of April 1, 2026.
- MyHealthLink will be retired May 1, 2026.
- Patient Gateway will continue to be available to view your Milford Regional information.
What You Need to Do
If You Have a UMass Memorial Health myChart Account
- Thank you! Your Milford Regional information will automatically be added to your existing UMass Memorial myChart account.
We strongly encourage you to link your Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway and UMass Memorial myChart accounts as both portals are Epic-based. Doing so will allow you to view your information from both organizations in one place. Watch the “Linking Your Accounts” video to learn how.
If You Do Not Have a myChart Account
- We strongly encourage you to sign up.

Starting April 1, 2026, you can also sign-up for myChart in your provider’s office.
