UMass Memorial Medical Center's Breastfeeding/Lactation Support

For breastfeeding questions and concerns or to learn about our services:

WIC Peer-Led Breastfeeding Support Groups

Baby Café at Family Health Center of Worcester

  • Available to all (you do not have to participate in WIC)
  • Sessions feature bilingual Latina breastfeeding support staff, guidance for pregnant people planning to breastfeed, support for pumping and returning to work, and certified lactation counselors
  • Virtual and in-person sessions are held Monday - Friday, 10 am - noon
  • Interpreter services available

Black Breastfeeding Circle Support Group

  • A welcoming space to connect, learn and receive the encouragement you need to support breastfeeding
  • Available to individuals who are either pregnant or on their breastfeeding journey
  • Virtual and in-person sessions are held Thursdays 6 pm – 8 pm and Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm
