Get Your Prescriptions Delivered Before You Leave the Hospital with Meds-to-Beds

UMass Memorial Health is committed to supporting you, from admission to discharge and beyond.  

UMass Memorial Meds-to-Beds is part of this commitment, providing safe and convenient prescription delivery, right to your room, at no additional cost.

When you enroll in UMass Memorial Meds-to-Beds:

• You and your doctor discuss at-home medication needs, before you leave the hospital.
• You return home with your medication in hand—no extra stop at the pharmacy!

Here's how it works

UMass Memorial Meds-to-Beds is for patients being discharged home Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, 9 am to 5 pm on weekends, with lunch on weekends from 12:30 to 1.

Step 1: Sign up

To have your prescription delivered to your bedside prior to discharge, tell your doctor, or call the Prescription Center Pharmacy where you are admitted:

Step 2: Your doctor places the order

Your prescription is sent directly to the Prescription Center Pharmacy by your doctor.

Step 3: You make your payment

A pharmacy team member contacts you to collect payment information. 

You can also provide your payment information ahead of time. Simply call the Prescription Center of the campus where you will be receiving your care.

Step 4: Your medication is delivered

A pharmacy team member delivers your medication to your nurse, or directly to your room when you are ready for discharge.
