Emergency Radiology
Radiologists in our emergency departments provide rapid imaging interpretation to help quickly diagnose critical illnesses and injuries.
Why Choose Us for Emergency Radiology Care?
Full Coverage for Emergency Radiology
Our emergency radiologists are available on-site in emergency departments to read images and consult with the care teams. We also have radiologists working remotely to provide support during busy times and assist with complex cases. These layers of coverage ensure quick interpretations and the fastest time to diagnosis and treatment.
Team-Based Approach
Emergency radiology requires close coordination between physicians, nurses, transport teams, radiology technologists and radiologists. In our emergency departments, team members work together seamlessly. We prioritize communication and cooperation, so you get the right care at the right time.
Pioneering Technology
We are a leader in advanced emergency imaging. Unlike many hospitals, we have used CT perfusion imaging for years as the standard of care for stroke diagnosis. Several of our emergency departments also offer CT angiography — a test not widely found in emergency settings. This scan helps us quickly confirm or rule out narrowed or blocked arteries as a cause of chest pain.
